In a few occasions, Family Tree DNA tested several markers that were discovered at the University of Arizona and couldn't be given standard names because the paper had not been published yet. Once the paper was published, the standard nomenclature and values were adopted and FTDNA made the appropriate adjustment to the personal pages. Therefore, for the 12, 25, 37 and 67 markers tests, Family Tree DNA customers don't need to convert their values, since the data is uploaded correctly from the FTDNA personal page. For the markers tested at the FTDNA's Genomics Research Center in Houston, the syncing between those results and the values provided by other labs need to be entered manually, according to the references listed below.
Oxford Ancestors
The values used by Oxford Ancestors need to be adjusted by using the following converter:
Relative Genetics (RG), DNA Heritage and Ancestry
DYS 441: subtract 1 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
DYS 442: subtract 5 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
DYS 452: subtract 19 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
DYS 454 and DYS 455: Please add 1 to your values only if your values were reported prior to March 2003, i.e., if you had a score of 9 for DYS 454, make it 10. Same thing for DYS 455.
DYS 461: Please add 1 to your value only if your value was reported prior to May 7, 2004.
DYS 463: subtract 2 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
GATA-H4 is reported by Relative Genetics as TAGA-H4. Please subtract 1 from your value.
GATA-H4 reported by DNAH and Ancestry: subtract 11 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
Y-GATA-A10: subtract 2 from the value received from the other lab and enter the result into Ysearch
Markers reported with a comma separating their values need to be entered one by one in the sequence presented in the entry form.
If you still have letter 'scores' used by RG for the markers 385a, 385b, YCAIIa and YCAIIb please correct them according to the following:

Ancestry.com
During the first half of 2002, Ancestry.com sold DNA tests that were processed by RG, therefore the change we refer to for DYS 454 and DYS 455 will also apply in this case.
Sorensen Molecular Genealogy Foundation (SMGF)
DYS 19/394: Subtract 1 from the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
DYS 389-2: Add the values reported by SMGF for DYS389I + DYS389B and enter the result into Ysearch as DYS 389-2.
DYS 448: Subtract 3 from the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
GATA-H4: Subtract 1 from the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
DYS 461: Add 1 to the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
DYS 635 is reported by SMGF as GATA C4. The values are identical.
DYS 452: Subtract 19 from the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
DYS 463: Subtract 2 from the value reported by SMGF before entering it into Ysearch.
DNA-Fingerprint and FTDNA's Genomics Research Center
GATA-H4: Subtract 1 from the value reported, before entering it into Ysearch.
CDY a and b: DNA-Fingerprint reports these as DYS 724.
DYS 452: Subtract 19 from the value reported by DNA-Fingerprint before entering it into Ysearch.
DYS 463: Subtract 2 from the value reported by DNA-Fingerprint before entering it into Ysearch.
Other Labs
The following markers, for one reason or another, had a temporary name before HUGO (The Human Genome Organization) assigned them the DYS numbers:
DYS 460 should replace GATA A7.1
DYS 461 should replace GATA A7.2
Also, for GATA H4, if your results are in the range of 22-29, please reduce those scores by 15 points before you upload them to Ysearch.
